Customer Service Program
Career Visions Professional Development Program
Our in-house classroom training is geared toward teaching the participant lifetime techniques to successfully obtain & retain employment. The training is designed to give consumers independence in his/her employment search and at the same time, provide daily support from an Employment Specialist. After the 2-week training, consumers will actively seek employment by setting up interviews through networking and cold calling, while our employment specialists are hard at work visiting local businesses in the community on our consumers’ behalf.
This training covers:
• Creating resumes, cover and thank you letters on the computer
• Faxing a resume
• Filling out employment applications
• Obtaining employment through networking
• Cold-calling effectively for job leads
• Dressing for Success
• Interviewing like a professional
• Using proper business etiquette (how to behave on the job)
This training will be considered complete when the participant is successfully employed.
Pre-requisites
Must have a completed vocational assessment on file, no more than six months old
Must have a specific, realistic work goal
Tuition: $1,500.00 (including placement!)
To qualify for a Professional Development Certificate with Honors, the following electives must be completed:
Electives
Stress Management; 6 credit hours, 6 weeks
Professional Goal Setting; 6 credit hours, 6 weeks
